Program
We accept children from 2.5 years old (potty trained) - 5 years old.
Classes are grouped by age, with 10-12 students per class.
Program hours are 9am-12 pm. Morning Day Care is available from 7:30-9 am. Afternoon Enrichment is offered 12-1:30 pm, with an emphasis on art, science, music, and language.
Chapels are held twice a month, with singing and a Bible lesson led by LHHPC’s pastor.
Special Events occur throughout the school year, including the Harvest Program, Christmas Program, Grandparent’s Day, and our end of the year Spring Sing. Family and friends are invited to join!
Curriculum Breakdown
School Readiness – learning and writing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Scissor use and fine motor skills. Sight words and writing names.
Music and rhythm – singing, dancing, and listening.
Indoor play – puzzles, blocks, stringing beads, playdough, tabletop toys, housekeeping play, magnetic boards.
Outdoor play – swings, slides, climbers, tricycles, sidewalk chalk, sandbox, and playhouse. The children also help plant and water a small vegetable garden.
Creative activities – different types of painting, collage, and drawing.
Storytime – books, poems, finger plays, and Bible Stories.
Snack time — a snack is provided daily. Children may choose to bring a snack from home.
Show and Tell – children share about something they bring from home.
