Program

The purpose of our Preschool is to help a child grow socially and intellectually in a Christian atmosphere. Our program includes:

• Kindergarten Readiness – learning and writing letters, numbers, shapes, colors, scissor use and fine motor skills.  Sight words and writing names.
• Music and rhythm – singing, dancing and listening.
• Indoor play – housekeeping play, tabletop toys, puzzles, stringing beads, blocks, play dough, peg and magnetic boards.
• Outdoor play – climbers, swings, slides, wheel toys and sandbox.  The children also help plant and water a small vegetable garden.  
• Creative activity – different types of painting, collages, and drawing. 
• Storytime – flannel boards, books, poems, finger plays and Bible Stories.
• Snack time -children bring their own snacks and eat around a table as a class
• Share days – children share about something they bring from home.
• Chapel Days – children will go to Chapel two times per month.
• Gift of Time Class (TK) – this class is for children who are chronologically ready but don’t meet birthday entrance dates for Kindergarten and /or for whom another year of Preschool would be beneficial for their social and emotional growth and development.
• Small class sizes.  10 – 12 students per class
