Mother’s Day:  All Pre-K classes are working on special Mother’s Day gifts.  We know you will really love them!

Open House:  Monday, May 21st.  We will start the evening at 6:00 with a hamburger and hot dog barbeque as well as a Bake Sale.  We will need Bake Sale donations.  Please sign up outside your child’s class to bring a baked item (homemade please).  Classrooms will be open for you to tour from 7:00-8:00. The rooms will be decorated with your child’s artwork as well as some academics.  Children love to show their families their classroom.  Please join us and suport the preschool on this special night. 

Teacher Appreciation Month:  May is Teacher Appreciation month.  I believe we have the best teachers at La Habra Hills Presbyterian Preschool. They love your children and work hard to teach and give your child the best preschool experience possible.  Please join me in thanking them in any way God puts on your heart.

Graduation:  Children who will be going to Kindergarten next year will participate in a Graduation ceremony on Monday, June 11th and Tuesday, June 12th.  The program will be in the Sanctuary at 11:30 a.m.  Feel free to invite family and friends to this memorable event.  If your child is going to our Gift of Time class next year, please keep them home for the day as they will not participate in graduation until next year.  Mrs. Drilling, Sully, and Miss Terri’s TTH class will meet as usual.

June tuition:  Tuition for the month of June is discounted as follows. 

Mon-Fri:  $186, MWF $126, TTH $93

Morning care is available until June 14th.  There is no afterschool care during the last week of school June 11 – 14th.

Chapel Days for May:  15th & 16th, 29th & 30th

Registration for the 2012/ 2013 school year will begin on April 16.  Currently enrolled students register on April 16 & 17th.  Church families can register on April 17th.  Registration is open to the public beginningn April 23rd. 

September 2012 is the first year the State of California is changing the entrance birthdate for incoming kindergarteners.  All children must be 5 by November 1st to enroll in Kindergarten.  If your child’s preschool teacher has recommended another year of preschool or you child is too young for Kindergarten, our Gift of Time class will be available and taught by Mrs. Hopps in Room 18. 

The Tuition prices for the Fall are:  M -F $350.00,  MWF $220, TTH $165   $10 discount for second child.
